📜 My Story
I am a lifelong technology enthusiast who is passionate about helping people learn, grow and building awesome things together. Despite my college professors telling me I should not pursue programming, I am a proud professional polyglot full-stack developer, DevOps engineer and software engineering coach with over 20 years of experience in the field.
I am also a proud documentation nerd. I spent many years as a technical writer and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of organizing content and writing in an effective manner for a wide user base. While I am fairly scatter-brained, I am a meticulous organizer and detail-oriented person when it comes to documentation.
My core focus these days is on building compelling, accessible and consumable user experiences. Despite it mostly consisting of "pushing pixels around", curating accessible and engaging user experiences is vital for user acceptance. Responsiveness and accessible designs are also key focuses of mine.
Much of my time nowadays is spent studying how humans interact with technology and how to design experiences that are intuitive, compelling and ultimately enjoyable to end users.
